Roger Gault
Aviation Marine Insurance Services was founded for aviators by an aviator. Roger Gault had flown helicopters in Vietnam and then off of oil-platforms. After a stint with National Aviation Underwriters, Gault formed Aviation Marine Insurance in 1979 as an independent aviation insurance agency.
Larry Gault
Larry has been with the firm for over ten years; he specializes in agricultural aviation and offers financial counsel for our clients. He came to Aviation Marine with a background in real estate finance. Gault holds bachelors and masters degrees from Stanford University and the University of Virginia respectively; he is also a former Navy officer.
Ed Bougher
Aviation Marine acquired a wealth of aviation experience when Ed Bougher merged his firm with ours in 2004. Bougher was an Army aviator and instructor during the Vietnam War. He founded his aviation insurance agency in 1976, building his business along California’s central coast, where he continues to serve Aviation Marine’s clients today.
Bud Hursh
Bud leads our Reno office. He has forty years of experience in the insurance industry and is a four time president of the Nevada Insurance Association. Hursh came to Aviation Marine in 1988 when we merged with the agency started by his father.
Patricia Merida
Pat came to Aviation Marine to strengthen our accounting department. She has subsequently earned her insurance license and is now an invaluable expert in the complexities of aviation insurance accounting, including premium financing.
Karen McLaren
Karen came to Aviation Marine from Austrailia, where she was a senior admisntrator at community college.
Scott Gault
Scott joins us from the University of Washington where he graduated with a BS Industrial Engineering. Scott will compete in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing this August racing in the Quadruple Scull event of Rowing. He also has his private pilot license and working on his instrument rating. .
